Groups you can join are displayed within the Groups tab under the title Groups you can join.
- Within the web app, navigate to the Groups tab.
- Select the Group you would like to join to reveal a description of the Group.
- Click on Join / Ask to Join
- If the group allows members to join without group administrator approval, it will display Join and you will have instant access via the Groups tab.
- If it displays Ask to Join, a request will be sent to the group administrator.
- If your request is accepted by the administrator, you will receive a confirmation email and welcome message.
- Navigate to the Home page.
- Navigate to either the Open groups or Managed groups tab.
- Select the group you would like to join and click on either ‘Join this group’ or ‘Request to join this group’.
If you are added to a group, you will receive an email notification informing you of your new group membership and a short cut to the group will be displayed on your Homepage.
